I love steel…its look, feel, and smell. I enjoy making steel come alive in a new form, exhibiting its own quirks and personality.
I bend steel…and it bends me. Often as not, we reach harmony, both giving a little.
The plasma cutting, grinding, welding, forging, and final patina brings a gift of enlightenment.
Simplistic lines, graceful curves, and pieces that have a powerful but quiet presence appeal to me, along with the adage “less is more.”
